Hey there!

Bridging Mental Health and Organizational Transformation

My professional journey began with a passion for supporting individuals through life’s challenges. As a licensed mental health professional with over 18 years of experience, I have worked extensively across various life stages, empowering people to overcome barriers and thrive. This foundation in mental health inspired me to explore broader systemic issues, leading me to pursue a PhD in Industrial-Organizational Psychology.

In 2021, I started an internship where I focused on the intersection of individual well-being and organizational culture. Since then, I’ve dedicated my career to addressing challenges such as psychological safety, workplace equity, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). My research focuses particularly on the unique barriers Black women face in professional environments, a topic that informs both my academic work and my practice.
